JOHANN LOETZ-WITWE (1858-1947)
Loetz glass is to European what Tiffany is to Americans. At it best Loetz glass is beautiful and delicate and plentiful. Other Bohemian companies quickly copied but never quite as good. They are not usually signed in Europe, but in US signed on the base wheel cut "Loetz Austria".
